I have a problem where some, er, shall we say, inappropriate URL’s visited by my teenage son are not being cleared from the IE address bar when I delete the history files. I got a Windows Script Host program called ClearTyped URL’s from Fred Langa’s newsletter, but it doesn’t seem to work under Win95. The URL’s seem to be in the User.dat file – I see them when I do a text search. I’m afraid I’m going to have to delete all users and start over again, but I’m afraid of having to rebuild my Outlook e-mail, desktop settings, etc. Is there another way to get rid of those URL’s? Ahh Kids…

There is software you can install to keep him from going there, you might search ">http://www.historykill.com to download a program that will do it for you. Just make sure that your son doesn’t get a hold of that one.. or you might never know…

>Under the General Tab, Click on Delete Temporary Internet Files
>Click on ‘Clear History’.
Yep, tried that, doesn’t clear everything. I’ll look at the “HistoryKill” site. Thanks.
