I have a problem where some, er, shall we say, inappropriate URL’s yikes visited by my teenage son are not being cleared from the IE address bar when I delete the history files. I got a Windows Script Host program called ClearTyped URL’s from Fred Langa’s newsletter, but it doesn’t seem to work under Win95. The URL’s seem to be in the User.dat file – I see them when I do a text search. I’m afraid I’m going to have to delete all users and start over again, but I’m afraid of having to rebuild my Outlook e-mail, desktop settings, etc. Is there another way to get rid of those URL’s? Thanks for any help

      Ahh Kids…

There is software you can install to keep him from going there, you might search ">http://www.historykill.com to download a program that will do it for you. Just make sure that your son doesn’t get a hold of that one.. or you might never know… wink

      Hope that helps!

        Thanks for the quick response.
        >Click on Tools, Internet Options.
        >Under the General Tab, Click on Delete Temporary Internet Files
        >Click on ‘Clear History’.
Yep, tried that, doesn’t clear everything. I’ll look at the “HistoryKill” site. Thanks.
