Why am I not receiving email notification when a response is made to one of my posted questions? Reply by email box is checked.

The email notifications have been working again for many of us since we changed servers a month or so ago.
Have you checked your spam/trash?
Also, you can click on the “Subscribe” button at the top of a topic.

PKCano:    I am still not receiving any notifications when I post a statement, so I will try to “subscribe” and hope that works as it is a whole lot of work trying to locate the latest information.   I don’t know what else to do at this point in time.   For the many years I’ve been using Ask Woody, I’ve never encountered it previously.   It appears that I am not alone with this problem.   Hoping something can be done to help those of us who are not getting the current information.    Yes, I too have the “notify me” box checked.

Sometimes I find that I’ve been unsubscribed… and regularly double check the top subscribe button when I’m already in a particular thread I want to follow. I’ve sometimes thought it happens when I’m not on the computer (subscribed when I log off, and unsubscribed when I come back). Or… I thought it might be if I’ve subscribed to a thread and then make a reply, that the check might be read as unsubscribe (because the clicking the subscribe button simply changes it from one to the other). Haven’t been able to systematically test it, yet. At any rate, you are not alone…

Yes, I constantly check trash folders on both of my email accounts. Will try the Subscribe button idea as well.
