One of our laptops is stuck at 20H2. I tried all the recommended solutions that I could find on the web, but not windows reset.
Does any one have a suggestion?
Thanks

AskWoody PlusOctober 9, 2022 at 4:42 pm #2486830Shalom Susan,
8007000d persists despite some changes I made to the registry.
The Policies/windows update key had only 2 strings, namely: (default) – (value not set) and DisableWindowsUpdateAccess – value 0.
I added ProductVersion – windows 10; TargetReleaseVersion – value 1
and TargetReleaseVersioninfo – 21H2. Restarted, tried backup received the 8007000d.
I have the 21H2 iso.
The media I used were; 1. Windows10Upgrade9252.exe
and 2. windows10.0-kb5011487-x64_2190163dcb84974d93ecdc32bdae277b57ebb95c.msu
What can I do next?
yours,
Yaakov Laks -

AskWoody PlusOctober 10, 2022 at 6:27 am #2486953Shalom again, Susan,
I ran both Dism … restore health and sfc /scannow, I still cannot install. when I (re)tried “Windows10Upgrade9252.exe” I received a debug window saying: “Line: 68 Error: Access is denied.” the built in debugger didn’t solve the issue.
Any suggestion, besides avoiding the issue or a complete windows reset?yours,
Yaakov Laks
