Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |
On my W 10 Home 1803 machine, when using the Chrome browser, it hangs at “Establishing Secure Connection”. (lower left of screen). For this reason alone, I updated to 1809. While I no other problems with 1809, I still have the bug with Chrome. I found a sort of work around doing a Google Search. If the Edge browser is open, clicking on it triggers a secure connection in Chrome.
Is there a Chrome setting that can solve this bug?
I am planning on upgrading to Pro when Ihave some time.

Some were apparently able to solve that situation with;
In Services > Cryptographic Services > Log On > Make sure that Log on as: Local system account is ticked and not This account.
