I have noticed several users have experienced some issues with domain controller while installed kb502010, 5021296 and 5022894 patches on Windows 2012 R2. Does anyone has similar problems with these patches on Windows 8.1?

normal Windows 8.1 went EOL in January 2023, so it’s hard to tell

KB5021296 is not an ESU patch – that one was released December 2022, one month before Win8.1 EOL in January 2023.

and kb502010 does not exist (maybe a typo as there’s a missing number in between – perhaps KB5020010, which that one exists & is also a non-ESU patch)

anyways, many of the domain issues were fixed with KB5023764 (the March 2023 security only update for Server 2012 R2 & Windows Embedded 8.1)

Depends on what you mean by issues.

There are Kerberos related changes being enforced so you should be monitoring the various posts and info I’ve done about domain changes that have been impacting servers over time.
