I would love to use this keyboard with my computer. It is solid, good response and they don’t make them like this any more. It is a PS2 and I have an adapter on it. However, I have been told that it drains power from the newer PC’s and can cause problems. Anyone have info on this? Thanks for your help.

      Libbie,

I don’t see why this keyboard should be any problem just because it’s a PS2. I think it’s made by Keytronics and I’ve never heard any bad news about their products.

Go ahead and use it….enjoy. yep

OK. I plugged in it and will get used to the solidness of the keyboard. Thanks for the advice. YOu are correct–made by Key Tronic.

Been here for many years. Got used to our winters as opposed to the NY/NJ area. ( even though we had frozen pipes in the kitchen this A.M. ) Besides, Brewster is one degree warmer than Wellfleet, so says NOAA. wink smile

Unless you are talking about heavy on the road use for a laptop, it seems unlikely that your Keyboard would cause a significant problem. If necessary, you should think of a spare battery. HTH

I’m going with the flow here. Plug it in, and if you have no problems, great! You have no substantive proof that it will do anything to the computer; if other owners had problems perhaps it was the PS/2 port on their computers that was poorly designed?

      Go for broke!

Going for broke. Attached the adapter to the PS 2 connector on the keyboard and then the PC and keyboard ing away!!
        Thanks for the help .
