Excel 2007 Delimiters

I’m using Excel 2007. If I use Text to Column and set the delimiter to, say, a space; then later import a text file, Excel remembers the delimiter (the space) I previously selected in the Text to Column tool. Is there a setting someplace that’s remembering this delimiter? It’s creating extra work if I forget to remove/change the delimiter.

Nope – it’s a ‘feature’ of Excel that is more often than not annoying. You have to remember to turn it off or do another TTC with no delimiters specified.
