Excel 2007 – Pivot table problems

Am trying to create a pivot table in Excel 2007.

When I select the destination for my Pivot table I get the dialogue boxes in the attached file (basically it states I can’t put it in any other spot apart from the current worksheet).

Any suggestions?

Hi, The only thing I can think of without seeing your file, is to check that the source data has no gaps between the headings and the data to be pivoted.

Thanks for the reply. The data pivots perfectly in Excel 2003, we get the same message with every file we try.

Would you be willing to upload your file? If you have sensitive data, I suggest you replace it with dummy data. Once you have uploaded your file I can have a look at it in Excel 2007.
