I have a user who was recently upgraded from Office 97 to Office 2000. Before the upgrade everything that she did worked fine. Since the upgrade she’s been having problems when it comes to using the analyzing feature of Access to analyze data in Excel. What she says happens is in an Access report she goes into the Tools menu then chooses Office Links: Analyze it with Microsoft Excel. When she creates a formula for the data that is exported or converted the formula doesn’t work. If she reenters the values the formula works instantly. I tried it on my PC with a brand new database, followed the same steps, and sure enough it doesn’t work right off. I had to reenter the data as well. Does anyone know if this is just how it works with the Office 2000 suite? This user claims that it worked correctly using the Office 97 suite. Thanks for your help.
