I have an Excel data sheet that has a number of data columns (9 to be exact). I first have sorted all columns based of 4 columns, i.e. column 2 then 3 then 4 then 5. These 4 columns are binary (0 or 1) and result in 16 different groups. I then color a different column (column 9) in a scatter plot based the different groups — that isn’t a problem. (Yes all the column aren’t used here. They are later.)

I would next like to sort those same data points (column 9) while retaining the color of each point and create a different scatter plot.

If it is easy, I’m having a brain cramp and can’t figure it out. Suggestions?

Asked another way, can I tag (connect) a symbol to a data point?
