I have an macro enabled excel spreadsheet (Excel 2007). The spreadsheet has started crashing. Te message that shows up in the event log is

    Code:
Faulting application name: EXCEL.EXE, version: 12.0.6683.5002, time stamp: 0x520bb25f
Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version: 6.1.7601.18205, time stamp: 0x51db96c5
    Exception code: 0xc015000f
    Fault offset: 0x00083fd3

A google search didn’t exposed too much. Some indicate that recreating the spreadsheet from scratch can resolve the issue but that seems like to sledge hammer type approach. Of course if that is the fix, that is what I will need to do but would like to look at other options or understand why this happened.

    Thanks for any tips.
    Ian

Sounds like you may have some corruption in the file. Try saving copy of file as HTML and then open the HTML file in excel and save as XLSX…

A gave that a shot. Saved spreadsheet as html. Opened html and saved out as xlsx. Opened xlsx copied over all of the macros and save it out as an xlsm. Install the 2 addins I am using and ran the scripts. Same problem. Script completes as it should with the correct values but when you exit Excel, Excel crashes with the message above.

      Perhaps it is the addins…
If you don’t install the addins is there a problem? If so, if you install only 1 do you have the problem?
