For Whom The Excel Tolls — the story of one man’s experience blowing up huge spreadsheets. From a book by Ernest Hemingway; screen play by Zeddy.

The Man from E.X.C.E.L. — Espionage Agents RG and Maud follow Zeddy to the ends of the earth and finally to a secret location called XFD1048576

    • #1526491

      KW,

Some “Man from U.N.C.L.E.” trivia: What was the name of their adversary organization?

T.H.R.U.S.H. = Technological Hierarchy for the Removal of Undesirables and the Subjugation of Humanity

    • #1526510

Maud: good one! I do remember that UNCLE was revealed to be United Network Command for Law and Enforcement.
More trivia: there was a Russian agent name Illya Kuryakin (Cure-e-ah-kin). THRUSH believe in the 2-party system (democrats and republicans? — no: masters and slaves!)

    • #1526548

OK. Now yawl forced me to login with some of my favorites.

O Spreadsheet Where Art Thou (2000) with George Clooney – haven’t gotten the plot of this yet one but I’m sure Maud and RG are involved in the shenanigans
Million Dollar Spreadsheet (2004) with Clint Eastwood – boxing with a spreadsheet, anyone?
Midnight Spreadsheet (1969) with Dustin Hoffman
Lord of the Spreadsheets – multi part starring any number of people
Lethal VBA – another multi parter starring Mel Gibson and guess who
Good Spreadsheet Hunting (1997) with Matt Damon
VBA Busters (1984) – who ya gonna get?
The 40-Year Old Spreadsheet (2005) with Steve Carell
A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Spreadsheet (1966)
Ea$y Spreadsheet (1983) – no such thing – some people get no respect
Driving Miss Spreadsheet (1989) – so who’s driving?
Dances with Spreadsheets (1990) with Kevin Costner
Raiders of the Lost Spreadsheet – another multi parter with Harrison Ford

and one of my all-time favorite movies:
Pretty VBA (1990) with Julia Roberts – story of a poor spreadsheet designer down on her luck rescued by Maud with his attorney sidekick RG

And the list goes on and on. Wouldn’t ya think those Hollywood folks could focus on something other than spreadsheets?
