Excessive CPU load while displaying Edge menu

I have 32 bit Edge version 92 installed on Windows 8.1 Pro 32 bit system. Whenever i click three dots button in the top right corner CPU load gets increased by 20% while displaying browser menu and never goes down until the menu is closed. If I click a menu item which has  submenu then CPU load is increased even more while displaying a submenu. No such behaviour is observed in Chrome 92. Can someone please check if such issue occurs on Windows 10 Systems?

I have the same issue in W10 19042 64 bit. The CPU goes from 1% to 3% and the GPU from 1% to 13%.
