• Export a Range as text

In 1-2-3, as old as version 2.01, you could save a range as text (space or tab delimited). I hve some programs that require ascii text as input, and have not been able to find a way to save the information as text without a really cumbersome workaround. Any help would be appreciated.

      Hi,

Can you just highlight it, and copy and pate it into Notepad?

If it’s a whole workbook, you could save it as a tab-delimited text file.

If you require something more sophisticated like that, a VBA solution would not be complex.

Try using Print to file using a generic printer.
