Does anyone know of a way to export Netscape 7 email for use in either Outlook or Outlook Express. I have tried importing and each time I point to message store I get the xxx not found message.

I have several clients who want out of Communicator badly.

    Thanks,

I don’t know the answer, since my experience with Outlook is limited, but have you tried suggesting Mozilla instead of Netscape? I don’t know what THEIR reasons are for wanting out, but to Mozilla at least the transition would be (almost) seamless. (Where “clients” are concerned, I wouldn’t recommend Firefox/Thunderbird, at least not for awhile.)

Like bigaldoc, I would strongly recommend giving Mozilla Thunderbird a try. It has a lot of the flexibility that Netscape email lacks. The transition would be fairly seamless. The spam filters are far more effective than Outlook, and your clients would avoid the Outlook Express security issues. As for importing the mail into Outlook or Outlook Express, from memory, I believe it is possible if you use Eudora as an intermediary. HTH

Thanks guys. I’ll give the Thunderbird a try and have them use Firefox as well.
