I have been asked to find the differences between a recently developed ADP and a current working MDB version of an application.

Is there a way to extract the VBA code behind the above mentioned objects so i can use a file compare program?

Or is there a better way?

I have found a way to do it by looping thru all forms, the reports then modules using:
      Application.SaveAsText acForm, “Form name”, etc

Thanks for your response but I omitted to say i already use Ultra Compare, it shows a side by side comparison.

I tried Windiff, it doesn’t show the differences as well as Ultra Compare so at this stage i will stick with Ultra Compare.

Have you tried WinMerge? Works well for me.

I’ll check it out, from what i have seen from an example on their site it looks remarkably like Ultra Compare.

What i like mostly about Ultra Compare that WinMergedoesn’t do is that it highlights letters that are different in lines where there are differences.

There’s another i have found called Compare It, this is as good if not better than Ultra Compare as it aligns text a lot better.
