F4, Ctrl+Y stopped working (Excel 2003)

All of a sudden, F4 and Ctrl+Y used for repeating last operation have stopped functioning In Excel. In Word and the other Office application they are still functional. I have already repaired Excel, to no avail. Anybody has any ideas about this behaviour?

thanks for the suggestion. When I started my computer again after dinner, the problem had miraculously resolved itself, I don’t know how.

Rule #1: always reboot your computer to see if the problem goes away spontaneously.

But I did, I did a number of times! That was was upset me.
