    Hi folks,

Well, I mis-typed some odd key combination this morning, and the Folder list disappeared off the left side of my Outlook Mail screen. I found the Folder View button to make the Folder list re-appear, but the Favorite Folders section has gone. According to Outlook Help this section “cannot be deleted”. And, presumably since it “cannot” be deleted, Microsoft doesn’t seem to provide a way to reinstate it. Any ideas how I can get it back?

    Brgds

You might be using the Folder List view rather than the Mail view in the Navigation Pane. Try switching around with the buttons on the bottom of that pane and see whether you can find the view you used before.

Thank you – you are exactly right! That was easier than I feared. But I wish I knew what keystroke combination I pressed that sent it away in the first place.

        Much appreciated.

        Jon
