    Hi,
I’ve just been upgraded to Excel 2007 and I can’t find the “favorites” option that I used constantly when opening/saving Excel files… it would show up on the left hand side of the box. Where did it go? Please tell me it’s not gone!?!?!
    Thanks so much!

      You can add it yourself.
Your favorites folder is somewhere below your user folder in documents and settings (in Win XP). Selec tthe favorites folder (without opening it) in the file open dialog.

Then rightclick in the box at the left that shows your shortcut folders and select add favorites.

      Hi Lana,

Have you been upgraded to Windows Vista too, as the open/save dialog will have changed if this is the case. In any event, if there is no shortcut button on the dialog, you will need to browse for it by going back to your user directory. Favourites is a subdirectory in the current user folder – C:Users?YourName?Favorites

Access to the favourites folder is not dependent on the version of Excel.
