Does anyone know of an inexpensive (preferably free) Access add-in that will provide a cross reference listing of all the objects in which a table field is used — i.e. reports, queries, forms, macros etc. in which the field is used?

Any other method of obtaining this information would also be appreciated.

    TIA.

I’d go with Rick Fisher’s Find And Replace. It is not free, but at only $50 it is well worth the price. I couldn’t work without it.

I second Mark’s recommendation. In fact, Find and Replace is only US$37, and if you do any kind of serious work with Access, it will earn itself pretty quickly. You can download a free evaluation version, but the cross reference button is only enabled in the registered version.

        Thanks for the recommendation.

I do a fair amount of Access work but it’s mostly on a volunteer basis. That’s the reason that I was looking for something at no cost. Having said that, $37 is not exorbitant so I’ll definitely consider it.

Does anyone know if the 2007 version is out of beta yet? I couldn’t tell from the website.

There’s still a separate download for version 9.00jx5 (the beta that partially supports Access 2007).
