help Does anyone know if it is possible to password protect a single file, multiple files and or folder(s) in W2K? I have looked through all my “resources” and can find nothing. If I remember, you could do this at one time in one of the previous versions of Windows.

    Thanks in advance… smile cheers

Are you using FAT32 or NTFS type of file system?

You can do it, even if your Win2k is on a FAT32 partition. However, it is easily bypassed, so hardly worth doing. If you are on FAT32, so do not have the native 2k encryption, there are numerous 3rd party freeware solutions. For a couple of possibilities, drop in to my website.
