Fill-in fields (Word 2000)

Many apologies, as I know this is basic and I know I’ve seen it covered before, but I’ve searched and can’t find it.

I need to place a field in a word doc. The text would say “Type name here” and when you click on it what you type replaces the field.

Where the { and } are inserted as field codes, using Control-F9

Hi Grant:
{macrobutton nomacro Type name here}

where the curly braces are inserted by pressing Ctrl+F9. You can skip from field to field by pressing F11, as well as by clicking.
