I have been receiving a lot of spam in foreign languages, including Korean and Japanese. I would like to eliminate it using some kind of a rule. However, there appears to be no way a rule can identify the language used in the email, unless I am missing something. I’ve managed to eliminate some based on the country code in the email return address, but most use a “.com” address. I would like any suggestions of a way to proceed.

Sorry, you can’t filter on language used, only ccountry codes or other identifying information in the header.

if they have a unique charset:
      Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1
you can use that – but most probably use a common one (like 8859) and that would catch real mail too.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have been able to eliminate some of the foreign spam by checking for words in the header, such as charset. clapping
