All of a sudden some fonts have changed. For example on some web forms where I enter data the font is so small as to be almost unreadable. In one small app I wrote 2 or 3 years ago the fonts were changed to Daun Penh I have attached a small screen shot of the login page of my credit card showing the small font. In another instance, I use Microsoft’s ‘Bookshelf’ which is pretty old. Now when I look up a word the font is not what it used to be and there is excessive space between listings on the dropdown.

I imagine the cause is something this silly old man did but I sure can’t think of what it was.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

At a rough guess, you have set IE fontdisplay size to small. Only some fonts will change with this setting as the web pages are often designed with fixed layout that you cannot change.

Try Ctrl++ (that’s hold down the control key whilst press the plus key) to see if the font grows.

Thx for the reply. The tip worked. However everything on the page got bigger, not the result needed.

      Chuck,
I had a similar experience (extremely small fonts on an HP login page) and it was rectified by viewing the page in compatibility mode (in IE8 – Tools>Compatibility View). This may or may not help in your particular situation.

Thanks to everybody. I got so frustrated that I reinstalled Windows 7
