Footnotes with Hyperlinks? (2000)

Hello Loungers, I am summarizing financial data which has footnotes in it. Is it possible to create hyperlinks within a cell to a footnote?

For example, cell a2 has Lost Rent – Bill Beaz (2). Can I create a link from the (2) to the actual note in say cell a500?

If so, how?

While in cell A2
Insert – hyperlink
In the “Named location in file” box, enter:
A500

Now you have a link to A500 from A2. If you only want the “(2)” to look like a link, format the cell as desired (eg no underlin, autocolor), then select the “(2)” and format that as desired (eg underline/blue)
