Force name and save of new document (2007 updated)

In at least one earlier Word version it was possible to require that upon opening a new document, Word asked to name and save it right away. Can this be set up in Word 2007?

I don’t think this feature is built in. But you can create a macro in your Nornal.dotm template:

Sub AutoNew()
On Error Resume Next
ActiveDocument.Save
End Sub
