I have a report that is based on a query that uses six tables, would it be possible to create a form based on this query and make modification in the tables. I have tried to makea tabular form but could not make any modifications.

      Richard,
it’s easier to answer if you provide the query & tables’ structure, explain how the tables are related and which fields you want to be changed.
For example, is this about one main table (being the one which’s data you want to edit) and the others being merely lookup tables… or far more complex?

As it happens, I discovered just today that you could save a query “as” a form — thus creating a form (handy!) but that won’t solve your problem.

Some queries are not editable, and some parts of queries are not editable — depending in part on whether you have primary keys and other indexes assigned and on duplication (you can edit the “child” part of the query, someone correct me if I’m wrong) or on grouping (you can’t edit anything). However, the most frequent occurrence of uneditable queries for me, when it happens, is that I haven’t set proper indexes in parent and child tables — which wouldn’t be your problem if you had done your proper schema planning ahead of time .
