I have a Access 97 database that is used for document transmittals by 5 users. I have just setup a new user but when they open the input form an error dialog saying “Data entry not available now…” with a lot more notes and finally “use only those commands & macros that are available for this database”. The procedure that runs Onload only sets form to data entry, sets focus & inputs default value. The strange thing is if I simplify the underlying query by removing a linked list lookup it runs fine (although not all data is input). I decided to re-install Access but re-install bombs out with VB error when almost complete. As I say database is running fine on other workstations. Is this a VB or Access problem?
