    Hi,
Just looking for some advice really.
I would like to specify the size of forms in a database. With some maximised and others not.
The problem is that with this approach the forms change sizes dependant upon how you enter them.
I’m using a Maximise Macro on the form I would like to appear on the entire screen, and obviously not for those I don’t.
Can anyone advise the best way to control the size and positioning of forms throughout a database.

I never use maximized forms in my databases, I don’t like the effect on different screen resolutions. I design a form at a size that will fit on the smallest screen resolution I have to support, then set Border Style to dialog, Auto Resize and Auto Center to Yes.

I second Hans’ opinion on the matter. I’ve seen a lot of databases that maximize everything. Not only do the forms get disformed at different resolutions, but I’ve seen a few where they set the forms to take up the whole screen, which is extremely cumbersome.
