I added a field to outlook 2000 Contacts “account numbers”. Some of my account numbers contain letters and numbers. Outlook demands a “valid number” if I enter letters. Help

The field was a user defined, when I try to edit the field I only get number options. How do I return it to general.

I think it’s because you have already used it with numerical entries.
You may have to delete them all (the entries), or start again.
