Foxnews.com is now requiring you sign up for a “free account” in order to have access to site’s content.  I actually read the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Notice of Financial Incentive.  I found each one to be very intrusive while giving them free rein of your email address.  Has anyone signed up in order to read Foxnews.com content and have you noticed evidence of your email address being used in ways not worth reading the news articles?

Set up a gmail throwaway account.  Don’t give them your day to day email account.

You could try this temp email source if it’s just for a sign up.

Tech Tango and Susan….thank you both and Ask Woody.  What a wonderful resource this Forum is.  I went with TempMail and it worked like a charm.  I wasn’t sure before hand how or where  you would get the necessary FoxNews sign up email reply, but don’t close the TempMail link and TempMail opens it’s on little inbox.  FoxNews’ attempted Spam or whatever will now go somewhere in cyberspace I guess, but not to me.

I refuse to create an account and I’ve lost all respect for Fox News over this new policy.  The way I get around it is to scan the Fox News website for articles I’m interested in and then Google the headline.  90% of the time, I can find another source with the same story.

Same. Will never give them information. Can’t imagine why anyone would. I can’t believe they haven’t lost a significant portion of their readers. I’m done with them.

I watched Fox news for a number of years but that is now changing. They are walking the line between right and left. They ban or fail to publish if they are opposed to your comments. Kind of like Communists.

I have listened to Fox for MANYyears and have never had any problems for which I am very glad about.  Spam and pfishing has gotten out of control.

The National Do Not Call list needs to be totally redone unless they want to remain obsolete.

I have a solution for having to give email address to view articles on foxnews website. All you have to do is go to end of the url and type in .amp. This will allow you to see every article and story without having to insert email address.
