I don’t know much about this stuff… Is it possible to ftp a file using a VBS / WSH script?

The WshShell object has a Run method which is roughly the same as Shell in VB. See the Run Method reference page on MSDN for more info.

I was seeking a similar solution sending and receiving text files for Excel applications. I played around with it and found that the hardest thing was to disconnect the dial up connection after the transfer was through. I tested almost every ftp software that I could find, and decided that Auto FTP Pro from Primasoft (available here) was the best one that fit my needs. Fully automated scheduler integrated with the software. Not much money and works really well.
