“This transformed Windows 10 installation is meant to replace the most Windows 10 components into Windows 7 components. And the difference between this and Windows 7 is very minimal!

I started to watch the video but the action goes way too fast. I have no idea what they’re doing. Stopped watching after 35 seconds, couldn’t take it any more. Even at 0.25 speed it’s still running past too quickly to absorb, and d*mned if I’m going to pause every two seconds to try to read the text on the screen.

Rather than a video running at dizzying speed, I would much rather have written instructions, with screenshots as an aid. At the very least, how about a running spoken commentary instead of an insipid song?

      Total fail IMO.

As an example of a well-made Windows transformation video, here’s this.

As suggested in a comment by @HeadPats4Peter  under Downgrade Windows 11 to Windows Vista (Timelapse):

for the viewers who want to figure out(and watch) the exact action being done(because the video is already sped up alot) …
when the video is paused, you can use comma and full stop to move back or forward in the video by one frame.

That works for me when the video is in full screen mode using the “,” = “<” and “.”=”>” keys without holding down the shift key.

This video is also described and discussed at Windows 10 can be transformed into Windows 7 with Registry, Group Policy, and AME

I had look at the 5,307,826,176 byte iso file provided. It is volume licensed Win10 21H2 English x64 installation media with the install.wim replaced. Using 7-zip I examined the install.wim:

      \Windows\System32\Recovery\Winre.wim has been removed
These files and directories have been added:
      \Windows\System32\mfc120*
      \Windows\System32\mfc110*
      \Windows\System32\mfc100*
      \Program Files\KMSpico\*
      \Program Files\Microsoft Games\*
      \Program Files\Windows Sidebar\*
      \Program Files\Classic Taskmgr\*
      \Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\*
      \Program Files (x86)\Windows Sidebar\*

KMSpico is piracy tool. See Found KMSpico on my PC for a discussion of that.
My take on this iso file: Phony; Avoid.
