When I am logging off XP home I am getting this message DEVLDR not responding, Do you want to End the program?

What does this mean, how do I fix it?

    Thanks’

A quick search on Google suggests that this is an incompatibly between a Creative Labs driver and your Windows version, see for example Q296838

It has to do with the fact you installed SoundBlaster Live and didn’t use supplied MS drivers.

      Have a look at Q315327

You do not have to unistal creative Live! software. Just replace the develdr32.dll file in the winodws system or system 32 folder (do a search for the file on C drive and replace all you find) with the develdr32 file found on the Win XP disk. This works just fine and you get all the functions of the Live drivers.

Oops I mean devldr.exe not a .dll file
