I see he’s included both Skype and TeamSpeak. I have been using Skype for a long time, and it does what it’s supposed to do. A collaborator and I just did a serious tryout of TeamSpeak the other day, including setting up a server and everything. It’s a DISTANT second to Skype at its best. It’s really not possible just to have a natural conversation with microphone and speakers with TeamSpeak. Fail.

Regarding the rest of the list… Just on a quick scan, it looks pretty good, though I see a few what I’d call “questionable” choices on there along with some conspicuously missing items (Visual Studio 2015 Community Edition anyone? Process Hacker 2? WizMouse?). But one or a few I’ve never run that I should try (TeraCopy? DISM++?), so I’ll be looking in more detail.
