IIRC there used to be an email section to the lounge, I could not find it so I m posting here.
I tried to have a verification sent to me in the form: nnnnnn+username@gmail.com
where nnnnnn is identifier I have chosen.

This used to work to help identify where emails where coming from.
It did not work for me now, it did in the past.

Is this still in use for Gmail? What was this format called, I tried searching in help but could not remember what it is called.

    🍻

      Plus Addressing

Think you may have the plus address backwards?

Automatically create a folder when this email address receives a message that uses plus addressing. For example, the system would place a message addressed to “user+plusaddress@domain.com

Now that I know it is called “Plus Addressing” I was able to find out how it works! Thanks CyberSar!

Don’t know how I got that bass akwards (or how I came to the conclusion that it works)
It was a login for Alexa which I had not used for4 or 5 years.

Plus Addressing is a good idea, too bad you can not send with that address.
