I cant say for sure when this problem started thou it has been a while.
Whenever I do a Google search and display the results and I click on the web site when I hit the back button it will not take me back to the Google search it just reloads the page I am on.
At first I thought it was just specific sites but I have come to realize it happens on all sites.
I can right click on the back button and chose the Google search I was doing from the drop down list.
I use IE10 and am wondering if this is related to the well documented problems with the back button or something else.
Anyone having this problem and any suggestions on a work around?

Right click on the back arrow to get a recently visited list. My guess is that you’ll see continue as the previous link. You should be able to see the Google search link further down in the list and you can click on it to redisplay it. I see this problem in IE9/10 on a few sites.

Thanks I was aware of this and this is what I have to do to get back to the Google search.
As I stated above its not just a few sites its all sites or at least every site I go to.
        I was just curious why?

Its intermittent for me. I don’t have a good answer for why it happens. You could try using a different browser – Firefox or Chrome.

Hi Barry, anytime I use Google search, I right click the link I want and select ‘Open link in new tab’.
