Just wondered whether anyone had heard when Google might be putting out a version of the Google Toolbar for Firefox 3…

John, the only answer I have seen from Google about this is “It is being worked on”.

Based on what has happened with previous major releases of Firefox, Google are unlikely to release a compatible version of their toolbar until Firefox has reached the release candidate phase. Mozilla are currently working on release candidate 1 for Firefox 3, but no date has been set for that release. There are currently at least 56 bugs that need to be fixed before Firefox 3.0 RC1 is made available.

Google have finally released an updated version of their toolbar for Firefox 3, just in time for tomorrows official release of Firefox 3.
