      The original post above from Alex is a follow-up to the following post of his from 9 months ago:

      In that prior post, allegations were being made about a possible new UI that would inform users of just what their party cookies can be used for and then allow them a choice to either allow them or block them outright. From the sounds of the OP of this thread, that idea gained NO traction, so the status quo remains.
