GeForce GTX 1650 Super – manufacturer of your choice. Great card at a reasonable price.

      cheers, Paul

Our HP ENVY 795-00xx workstation with an Intel i7-8700 CPU, 16 GB ram, 64 bit, running Windows 10 1909 works great with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB

GeForce GTX 1650 Super โ€“ manufacturer of your choice. Great card at a reasonable price.

Running a GeForce GTX 1650 here. Has 4GB GDDR6 memory. Great bang for the buck. Very stable, and no issues here with an Intel 9th gen Core i5-9600k, turbo to 4.6GHz. I tested it with the latest MS Flight Sim and got decent frame rates.

If you go to the setup guide for your computer…
      https://dl.dell.com/topicspdf/xps-8930-desktop_setup-guide_en-us.pdf
…you will find the following video cards listed as options for the computer when it was new:

      NVIDIA GT 1030
      NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti
      NVIDIA GTX 1060
      NVIDIA GTX 1070
      NVIDIA GTX 1080
      AMD Radeon RX 560
      AMD Radeon RX 570
      AMD Radeon RX 580

I looked each one up on Ebay and found the amount of video memory that is available for each one:

      NVIDIA GT 1030 (2GB)
      NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti (4GB)
      NVIDIA GTX 1060 (6GB)
      NVIDIA GTX 1070 (8GB)
      NVIDIA GTX 1080 (11GB)
      AMD Radeon RX 560 (4GB)
      AMD Radeon RX 570 (8GB)
      AMD Radeon RX 580 (8GB)

I would get one of the high memory cards from that list:
      NVIDIA GTX 1070 (8GB)
      NVIDIA GTX 1080 (11GB)
      AMD Radeon RX 570 (8GB)
      AMD Radeon RX 580 (8GB)

Since Dell offered those specific cards for your computer, you know that they will have no compatibility issues with your computer.

In reviewing the stated system requirements for XPpane on their site (they were kinda hard to find), they recommend using the Nvidia GTX 1070 or better, but the program will support any Nvidia card from the 600 series and up according to the minimum system requirements.

I have been using an nVidia GTX 1660Ti with 6GB of GDDR6 memory. A great card, unless you want ray-tracing. Right after I bought it, the 1660 Super came out with slightly faster memory at a slightly lower price point.

Even though massively more memory that my previous nVidia card (GTX660Ti with 3GB) it definitely shows more detail and vibrancy at a far lower temp and wattage draw and much higher frame rates.
