I somehow got this program when trying out one of the advertised programs in the newsletter. Now it will not uninstall. The message I get is “you need to log in as administrator to uninstall”. I checked to be sure and I was logged in as the administrator. Any ideas on how to delete this program.

AskWoody LoungerDecember 14, 2013 at 9:15 am #1428876AVG has a Browser Configuration Tool that you could try and it’s usually best to uninstall these sort of things in Safe Mode.
You may also want to run AdwCleaner afterwards to check if you have any other unwanted programs/toolbars.

AskWoody LoungerDecember 14, 2013 at 8:33 pm #1429009It’s NOT malware, but for those who don’t like Toolbars, in general, like me, just go to Add Remove programs in XP or “Programs and Features” in 7, 8 or 8.1 and UN-Install it. Job done. Or, like was said, do it in Safe Mode. Whatever!
You just may find that a lot of things can be done if you just run the little script that we’ve had for a while now……”Grant Admin Full Control”
It’s easily found and downloaded from the internet. In just a few Mouse Clicks, it can make you the OWNER of any file or folder in your HD….or all of them, if you have enough time.I have it on my Download Server, but I’ve been asked to not post the link here. That’s OK…. You can find it elsewhere. If not……. drop me a PM.
In fact, I don’t like ANY toolbars. And I execute every one that gets in my way.
I am a vicious, heartless, blood thirsty, ravenous, Toolbar Killer. I kill every one that I find.
I’m just glad there’s NO prison time for Killing Toolbars. :rolleyes:Cheers Mates and Happy Holidays!
