Hi, I am wanted to export my contacts from Outlook to Google, but when I look at contact lists, there isn’t one created. When you type in a new email, contacts appear from previous conversations. Is this some form of cache that I can export? Thanks in advance!

Outlook used to store auto-complete data in an NK2 file.

      This post might help.

Thanks for the reply, Paul, unfortunately, I have only used the browser and not downloaded the app. Is there a way around that?

Then the addresses are probably in the browser cache. Not sure how to extract them from there but a quick search for auto fill browser cache should work.

      cheers, Paul

I wonder if the contact list you want to create from Outlook is simply a .csv contacts file that you create as follows: In Outlook, click File > Open and Export > Import/Export > Export to a File. This creates a .csv file of your contacts.

Then in Google open the Google Contacts app. To can do this by opening Gmail in your browser then click on the 3×3 box of dots in the top right (Google Apps). In the Contacts app, click Import > then import the .csv file you created.

You can view the .csv file in Excel. It should include the contacts that show up in auto-complete to which Paul T refers.
