Hi,

We’re trying to do is reset the normal template as it has become corrupted.

So I deleted the Normal.Dot file, still the new normal.dot is acting wierd.
Look @ the screenshot, the top margin is very thin.

This happened quite suddenly. How can I solve this problem & get back to a standard normal.dot?

    Thanks v. much.

From WD2002: Rules for “Hide white space between pages”:
In Microsoft Word 2002, you can hide the white space at the top and bottom of each page and reduce the amount of gray space that appears between pages in print layout view. gray space to the left and right of the page is not affected. This behavior is controlled by the White space between pages option (click Options on the Tools menu and then click the View tab).
Does this apply to your situation?

        Dear Hans,

Not sure why, but a reset of the machine seemed to fix the problem! Bizzare.
