How do I add Desktop Themes ?

It seems like this simple settings need 3rd party hacking app like UltraUXThemePatcher

I don’t want Microsoft store. I want to add from 3rd party like https://www.deviantart.com/ or, https://www.oldergeeks.com/downloads/file.php?id=3555

It may not have all the bells and whistles that you’re looking for, but it’s possible to create your own custom theme for both Windows 10 (and 11), just by downloading (or creating) a sequence of images and storing them all together in a folder

I haven’t tried it myself, because I prefer a plain black logon screen and wallpaper, with no distractions, but you can find instructions from TheWindowsClub HERE

That one doesn’t need any special installer. Just double-click the .themepack file.

(It was from Microsoft, but 10 years old.)

Thanks. I have already “fixed” it by downloading each .jpg and using the Background option suggested https://www.askwoody.com/forums/topic/how-do-i-add-desktop-themes/#post-2610776

(It was from Microsoft, but 10 years old.)

I remember using the same on my Windows 7. This Theme is not on Microsoft store now.
