An important email has been filtered in Junk (outlook). I saw the email only 2 days ago, when the sender informed me that they had sent me a message on an important issue. Now this person is suing me for not acting on that particular issue. The only way I can cancel the appeal is if I can prove that this email went to my junk folder and prove that I opened the message only recently. Can anyone suggest how I might go about this? I would appreciate your help.

    Thank you

The headers of the message will contain the results of any spam analysis. Access to the headers varies greatly. My email client calls it “raw view”; Gmail calls it “Original Message”; outlook.live.com calls it “Message Source”. You will have to figure out how to get to that content in Outlook.

I don’t know how to identify when a message is first read.

You can use BBCodes to format your content.
Your account can't use all available BBCodes, they will be stripped before saving.
