    Hello,
Can someone please help me to get page headers and numbers to start on page 3?

I have several documents that will form chapters of a larger document. I am asked to insert a chapter separator and blank page in front of each chapter before formal double sided printing. Yes, I can insert the pages and a chapter front piece with a section break before the main body of the document. (I hope I made the break correctly.)

But then I must suppress the header and page number on the separator and blank pages. They must start on page 3.
By some fluke I managed this somehow for one chapter but cannot get it to work again!

I have seen several items online but they rather skate over how one prevents page numbering and headers spanning the section break.

I go to Header & Footer, then Navigation and look at the icons for Previous, Next and link to previous. But it is unclear what is set and what should be set.
I must presumably then delete the header & footer in the front two pages … but that insists on affecting the whole document.

As I have said I managed this correctly once after some struggle but cannot now repeat the process.

    Thanks in hope!
