while retaining single spacing for the text within each list item. Basically, I want an extra space between each numbered list item so that when I print my list out, I have some room to hand write answers to each numbered question. I don’t want the entire document double spaced though, just the breaks between different number/bullet points. I have looked through Word 2007 settings and the help glossary, but don’t see an option to adjust vertical spacing between number points while still retaining single spacing for those lines within each number point.

    Anyone?

      Welcome to Woody’s Lounge!

You can set the Space After to (for example) 12 points in the Paragraph settings for the bulleted text (or style). Line spacing within a paragraph will be single (or whatever you set it to), but there will be extra blank space after each paragraph.

Thanks! My error was retaining the check in the Don’t add space between paragraphs of the same style box.
