How to Copy a word doc including header and footer to another word doc while keeping header/footer

I am stuggling to copy the content of a word document 2007(File_B) including its header and footer into the original document(File_A) and still keep the origin header and footer also from File_A… meaning that I will have both headers and footers from both files…
I used different was of using section breaks and page breaks but it didn t succeed, mosty it copies the new doc File_B with its header and footer and removes the origin header and footer…

AFAIK, you can only have one Header and Footer on each page.

If the to-be-copied page is not too long might see if Inserting a Text Box then Copy and Paste the page in it would work.

You can only have one header or footer on a page. However, you can have many within a document.
In Doc_A, insert a new page section break at the end of the document. Insert three manual page breaks after that. Go to each header/footer in the new section (there may be three of each) and make sure it is not linked to previous.

Delete the manual page breaks.

Copy the contents of DocB, including the last paragraph mark, into the new section of Doc_A.
