I’ve used Hotmail.com as my primary email for well over 10 years. Recently I allowed an update to the new Outlook style format. Which I can live with.

But I can’t find any way to delete a folder. Nor is searching the internet any help; answers are all for the old format. I can revert to the old format, but I’d rather just move on.

Anybody figure it out? Am I missing something? Thanks.

I blundered into the answer. When I right-click on a subfolder, I get

      Open Link in New Tab
      Open Link in New Window
      Bookmark This Link
      Save Link As …
      Copy Link Location
      Clip to Onenote
      View WOT Scorecard
      DownloadHelper
      Inspect Element (Q)
      NoScript

in a gray window with the tip of my arrow pointer on the upper left corner.
If and only if I left-click without moving the pointer, the gray window closes and underneath is another small white window with

      For this folder
      New subfolder
      Rename
      Delete
      Mark all as read
      Empty folder

Requires a bit of finesse to do this.

So now I’m wondering if I’ve got something set wrong.

Anyhow, thanks Bruce. “Problem” has a workaround.

        Hi

Try enabling the setting (i.e. making sure the box is ticked), allow websites to disable or replace context menus.

See this Mozilla Support article, the setting you are looking for can be found under the Advanced Section.

        Hope this helps
