Quite awhile ago I was using TruPax software from http://www.coderslagoon.com. I made a shortcut key with: WinKey+8 (on the numeric keypad). When I would execute this keyboard shortcut it would put this in a box: B:MyAccts.tc
I no longer use this program, so I would like to get rid of this and be able to use this shortcut for something else.

So why not uninstall it, which you would presumably do via the Windows Control Panel? Indeed, you could even leave it on your system and simply re-assign the WinKey+8 shortcut.

Re-assigning is what I tried, but does not work.

In my experience you can’t re-assign a shortcut key combination as long as it’s assigned. How about going to Properties and back-spacing to get rid of the key combination, then close out. Now Win+8 will be available. . .maybe?
